Tektronix TSG 131A "Multiformat Signal Generator" video test signal generator, PAL version. Broadcast test instrument for checking and servicing video equipment, monitors and recorders.

Front panel: 24 selectable test patterns (75% and 100% bars, PLUGE, convergence, red / blue / green fields, 0 / 50 / 100% fields, chroma noise, pulse and bar, T pulses, steps, ramp, modulated ramp, multiburst, sweep, reduced sweep, matrix, bowtie, bounce) and format selector PAL/YC, Y B-Y R-Y, GBR, Y CTDM.

Rear panel: BNC outputs (Y/G, composite, black/sync, C/B-Y and others), S-Video output, two audio tone outputs on male XLR (CH 1 with identification, CH 2). Mains power via IEC inlet, set for 180-250 V (30 VA max, 48-66 Hz), so suitable for 230 V.

According to the documentation: 10-bit digital signals, Betacam, GBR, S-VHS, Hi-8 and PAL 625/50 formats, two balanced 1 kHz audio tones, selectable identification pulse on channel 1.

Condition

Good condition, tested and working. Light signs of use on the cover, adhesive residue at the rear.
